WebCam tower leak - any issue not fixing it? I found an insanely clean 2013 tundra 4.6, passenger side appears to have the cam tower leak, but the truck is the nicest one I have seen and the price is good. Any issue if you just drive the truck and keep the oil level good? I wouldn't be against fixing it someday but I'm not in a rush to do it now. The Problem: Cam Tower Leak The Cam Towers are located under the valve covers on these trucks. From the factory, Toyota uses a gray silicone-like RTV sealant instead of a real gasket. This sealant eventually gives up and starts leaking from the REAR of the cam towers because the engine is slanted down in the back.
