WebPeriapt has a "portable" cable for single connector that I imagine would be a little heavier than the stock k7xx cable, but not by a ton. It depends on your weight tolerance and how much you move around. If you use it mostly stationary it'll be fine, but if you're walking around it would definitely weigh down the k7xx a bit.
