WebbI'm a huge Gust fanboy and I think it's one of their weakest titles. It's grindy and the combat lacks "impact" for a hack and slash. You don't even have to compare it to something extremely polished like NieR Automata. Senran Kagura feels better to play. Oddly enough I think the monster system actually hurt the game.
