WebDESCRIPTION. This trail parallels Highway 6 and the Wilson River for about 15 miles. For a river trail, it isn''t very flat, but most climbs are not sustained. Much of the east end of this trail is Sweco-track (i.e. a couple of feet wide), but it''s out-sloped well, so it''s one of the best trails when the ground is wet. WebThe Gales Creek Trail is 12.7 miles from Summit Trailhead to Reehers Camp Trailhead. The trail may also be accessed from Gales Creek and Storey Burn Trailheads.
